"Gatsby's Crib" by Vicky Woodward -- https://flic.kr/p/rR9rna |
It’s been fun to see to see folks start posting their thoughts, and the pictures for the Make a Connection activity.
I love this collage of images Meg Tufano posted on the NextThought platform, and no, I didn’t see the French Department Store —. I also really liked the questions she posted along with her picture.
Can you find the following?Vicky Woodward shared a fabulous cat detective cartoon (see some of her other cartoons here), and of course Laura created this fantastic post that features her desktop and bookshelf. I'll admit that my introduction is seeming a bit modest compared to these contributions.
Department Store in Paris, FR; Meg's two grandmothers; Meg's younger son; Spinazie!; Photo of Vermont; Meg's mother; Google swag; Dutch tea; Meg's great grandmother; One item that is not actually in her office (middle pic is panorama of whole office); Going Dutch magazine.
What else could you find?
If you haven't yet had a chance to add yourcontribution to the "Make a Connection" discussion, or to practice with the improvisation video on "The Art of Improvisation," take ten minutes today to play along with us. It's a great way to get started thinking about student engagement before we get into our first full unit next week.
